Director James Mang0ld has confirmed that he foreshadowed
Logan's ending in the 2013 Wolverine movie. In that movie, a woman who can see the future tells Logan "I see you on your back, there's blood everywhere. You're holding your own heart in your hand." By heart, she's apparently referring to his daughter, Laura.
