Simon KInberg to direct Dark Phoenix

Fox has hired long-time X-Men writer and producer Simon Kinberg to direct the upcoming X-Men: Dark Phoenix movie. Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, and Kodi Smit-McPhee will all return in the movie, as well. Jessica Chastain is currently in talks to play villain Lilandra of the Shi'ar Empire.
