Joss Whedon No Longer Directing Batgirl Movie

The Hollywood Reporter is stating that Joss Whedon has left development of the Batgirl solo movie, which he was planning to write, produce, and direct. Whedon stated that he “really didn’t have a story," which raises the question of why he was hired in the first place. Perhaps WB offered him the gig as an incentive to take over Justice League.
