Might the New Companion Be From the 1800s?

Many of the episodes involving Jenna's character (who appears to be named Clara) appear to be set in Victorian England. This could be indicative of Clara being from that time period. It could also mean that the TARDIS is being trapped or even completely broken and unable to time travel. Or maybe the Doctor is trying to find someone or something in that time period and keeps getting sidetracked.

On the other hand, she has been spotted several times wearing modern clothing. I'm not sure a 19th century girl would be that keen on short skirts in the middle of Victorian London. However, she may just think they're cool, or that long skirts are bothersome.

Also, around the time they started filming the Christmas special (the first episode to feature Clara), the BBC has switched its official Doctor Who page to orange. And now today, their Twitter page is also orange. Coincidence? Probably, but it's bothering the hell out of me.
