When we first started the Black Lighting journey, I knew that Jefferson Pierce and his family of powerful Black Women would be a unique addition to the super hero genre. The love that Blerds and all comic book fans around the globe have shown this series over the past three seasons proved what we imagined, Black People Want To See Themselves in all their complexities. Thank you to the phenomenal cast, writers and crew without whom none of this would’ve been possible. I'm incredibly proud of the work we’ve been able to do and the moments we've been able to create in bringing DC's first African-American family of super heroes to life for the culture. I'm very grateful to Peter Roth, Warner Bros. TV, Mark Pedowitz, The CW Network and Greg Berlanti for their partnership and support of my vision at every step of this journey. While Season Four may be the end of one journey, I'm extremely excited to usher in a new chapter and continued collaboration with The CW as we tell the story of Painkiller.

More Class Audios Coming Soon
Big Finish has announced they will release a second round of audio stories from Doctor Who spin-off Class next April. The release will consist of two volumes, each priced £19.99 as a CD or £16.99 as a download.
Volume 3
Volume 3
- The Soers’ Ditch by Carl Rowens
- Catfish by Kate Thorman
- Sweet Nothings by Michael Dennis
- Mock by Alfie Shaw
- The Creeper by Lizzie Hopley
- Queen of Rhodia by Blair Mowat
When we first announced we were reviving Class on audio, I think the response took everyone by surprise, and it became clear to everyone there was an appetite for more adventures with these characters. And now we have even more! As before, they're set within the television series, tackling urban legends, intergalactic romances, mock exams and an abandoned Shoreditch house on Halloween! Greg, Sophie, Fady and Jordan return as Charlie, April, Ram and Matteusz respectively, with a couple of new cast members lending their vocals to familiar characters. Although we were unable to secure the talents of Vivian Oparah and Katherine Kelly, I'm thrilled to welcome Joanna McGibbon as Tanya Adeola and Dervla Kirwan as Miss Quill into the Class family. They're both such brilliant actors and really capture the unique attitudes of their characters.

Agents of SHIELD to End With Season 7
Deadline did an interview with Agents of SHIELD executive producer Jeph Loeb, who confirmed rumors that the seventh season will be the show's last.
DEADLINE: It seemed like S.H.I.E.L.D. was going to end before, especially a couple of seasons ago with the apparent death of Clark Gregg’s Agent Phil Coulson at the end of Season 5. Why wrap it up when you are on a roll and had a new season ordered late last year?
LOEB: The simplest answer is so that we can end on our terms, really.
How many shows do you know that just suddenly ended, and you feel like, but wait a minute, there was more. Yes, in the chronology of this is we thought Season 5 was the end. If you go back and you look at the end of that season, it is written that way. Actually, the last episode of that season is called “The End.” Honestly, we thought we were turning out the lights and going home when we got a call from ABC that said, the material is so strong, do you think you have another season, do you think you have another 13 because we sort of like this idea of doing it again.

DC Universe has reportedly cancelled their Swamp Thing series. This does not exactly inspire confidence in the streaming platform, given that it's only their third original series, of which only a single episode has been released.
The rest of the season will still air as planned.
