9 Years of Doctor Who

Today marks nine years since Doctor Who returned to television screens everywhere. To celebrate, the BBC have released three promotional images of the 9th Doctor and his companions.

I'm hoping the BBC will do something more next year for the 10th anniversary. I've got a number of a ideas for what they could do. One is An Adventure in Space and Time 2 starring Russell T. Davies, Christopher Eccleston, Billie Piper, and others to tell the story of what it took to get the show back on the air. They could also do a one-off television story story starring the new series Doctors and their companions similar to The Day of the Doctor. If all else fails, they could do one of those talking heads show featuring interviews with the cast and behind the scenes footage.
