Benedict Cumberbatch on Playing Who Role

Benedict Cumberbatch recently cast aside any rumors of him playing a role in the Whoniverse. He told fans at Oz Comic Con, "I’m never gonna play the Doctor, and nothing to do with the Whoniverse." This seems to thoroughly shred any hopes fans might have had of him playing the Doctor or the Master, especially given his past disinterest in the show.
