Doug Jones & Anthony Rapp Cast in Discovery

CBS has announced two new pieces of casting for Star Trek: Discovery. Doug Jones will play Lt. Saru, a science officer who's a member of a new alien species (as yet unseen to the audience). Anthony Rapp will play a fungus expert known as Lieutenant Stamets.

UPDATE: According to TVLIne, Stamets will be gay. They've also officially confirmed Michelle Yeoh
