Entertainment Weekly is reporting two things concerning Star Trek: Discovery. First, the series has been delayed again, to an unknown date (it was scheduled to release in May). CBS seemingly confirmed this, saying "we will be flexible on a launch date if it’s best for
the show. We’ve said from the beginning it’s more important to do this
right than to do it fast." The delay is reportedly due in part to a desire to avoid confusion caused by marketing Sonequa Martin-Green's new show while her current one is still on air. Second, James Frain will be playing Sarek, father of original series character Spock. EW did not state how big of a role he will have (other than "key").
UPDATE: We have official confirmation of Sarek's casting. The official site now says Discovery will be released in 2017, instead of May 2017. Interestingly, the article does not list Sonequa as among offical cast members.
