Mark Gibbon Cast in Supergirl

The CW has cast Mark Gibbon as General Zod in the season finale of Supergirl. The news was originally broken by Bleeding Cool (which is not exactly the height of reliability), and has since been independently confirmed by at least two other sources. Gibbon's other credits include Man of Steel and Smallville. The nature of Zod's role in the episode is not known at this point.
