Rip Returning for LoT Season 3

This week's season finale of Legends of Tomorrow saw Rip Hunter exit the Waverider. His departure left some fans worried that we might not see him next season, but fear not. In an interview with Superhero Insider, producer Marc Guggenheim confirmed the Time Master will return.

We’ve got plans for Rip for next year. It’s just in a different capacity than him being a member of the team.

My guess is that Rip's going to arrive at his destination only to realize they've messed up history. Then he'll have to figure out how to fix it on his own or where to find the team in this new reality.
