Disney's Aquisition of Fox Completes Tonight

It's been over a year in the making (I know, I haven't really reported on it. I kept expecting it to get terminated by some government agency), but Disney's buyout of 20th Century Fox will officially go into effect tonight at 12:02am Eastern Time. The deal sees Disney acquire most of the company's assets, including the studio and intellectual property, but not certain television networks (including their main over-the-air network and regional sports networks). After the acquisition goes into effect, expect some corporate restructuring and layoffs as redundant positions are eliminated.
