Hartley Sawyer Fired from The Flash
Warner Bros TV has fired Hartley Sawyer from his role as Ralph Dibny on The Flash. This comes in response to several deleted tweets from several years ago containing racist and misogynistic remarks, screenshots of which have recently begun circulating. It's unclear at this time whether the role will be recast, or simply written out. Showrunner Eric Wallace gave the following statement (see embedded tweet):
