Brent Spiner's Supergirl Character Recast

Brent Spiner has exited his role as Vice President Baker on Supergirl due to scheduling conflicts with a family event. The character will now be played by Bruce Boxleitner.

Brent Spiner Cast in Supergirl

The CW has cast Star Trek alum Brent Spiner in the upcoming season of Supergirl. He will recur as Vice President Baker, who's described as "adept and politically minded, VP Baker makes for an unlikely leader, but steps up in a big way when his country needs him most." I've seen speculation that President Marsdin might be outed/come out as an alien, so this could be referencing that.
