Netflix has released a new featurette on Iron Fist character Colleen Wing.

Interview Magazine has a (somewhat short) interview with Iron Fist star Jessica Henwick in which she talks about her character, Colleen Wing.

The most defining word that comes to mind is alone—in all its positives and negatives. She doesn't want to be anyone's love interest and open herself up in that way.

Jessica Henwick Cast in Iron Fist

Marvel has announced (in what I'm fairly certain isn't an April Fools prank) that Jessica Henwick (Game of Thrones, The Force Awakens) has been cast in the upcoming Iron Fist series as Colleen Wing. Colleen is a martial arts master who runs her own dojo and will serve as an ally to main character Danny Rand. Showrunner Scott Buck commented,

I’m very excited to have Jessica as our Colleen Wing. She’s shown us that she can bring both a sense of quiet strength as well as an engaging vulnerability to the character.

Marvel head of television Jeph Loeb said,

Jessica brings both a youthful vitality mixed with a strong sense of authority crucial to the character. And as anyone who’s seen her in ‘Game of Thrones’ can attest, she can throw down with the best of them, making her the perfect Colleen Wing.
