Lynda Carter Returning to Supergirl

Lynda Carter announced on social media today that she's filming another episode of Supergirl. I'm not entirely sure which episode, probably 17 or 18.

Lynda Carter Was Originally in Invasion!

In an interview with Comicbook.com, Marc Guggenheim said that Lynda Carter was in the first draft of Invasion!. For those who don't watch Supergirl, she plays President Olivia Marsdin on Earth-38 (what they're officially calling Supergirl's universe). The plan was for her to be vice president on Earth-1 and take over after the Dominators killed the president. However, the CW deemed that too confusing and scrubbed it.

Lynda Carter Denies Wonder Woman Cameo

In case you're not aware, Lynda Carter played Wonder Woman in the 1970s television series. In an interview with Variety, she said she does not have a cameo appearance in the new film.

I’ve spoken to Patty Jenkins. She talked to me on the phone about the character, and we were trying to see if I could do something with the movie, but it didn’t work out. The timing was off, and I was doing other things and couldn’t get over to where they were shooting.

Supergirl S2 Filming, August 18

Filming on episode 2x03 of Supergirl took place yesterday in Vancouver. Melissa Benoist, Lynda Carter, Chyler Leigh, and Floriana Lima were on set.

Lynda Carter Cast in Supergirl

The CW has cast Lynda Carter (Wonder Woman) as the President of the US in season two of Supergirl. The producers had originally tried to get her for season one, but her schedule didn't work out.
