Peter Davison to Appear in 50th
Peter Davison has confirmed that he will appear in the 50th anniversary in some capacity. It's not known whether he will have a part in The Day of the Doctor, although he does have a copy of the script.
I’m making an appearance somewhere over that period of time but I can’t reveal in what. I can’t reveal anything specific about it. I’m not allowed to. It is a big year for the show and we’re all doing our bit for it. Trust me.It is possible he was referring to the Big Finish production, The Light at the End. However, since he refused to comment on his involvement, it seems likely it's something more top secret than that.

Classic Doctors Protesting 50th? Or Sneaky Filming?
Classic Doctors Peter Davison, Colin Baker, and Sylvester McCoy were seen protesting the 50th Anniversary outside the BBC Television Center earlier today. They were seen holding signs such as "No classics? No 50th!!" and "Have a heart, classic Doctors want a part."
It is likely that the protests were faked as they were being filmed by a small crew. They were also not attempting to draw attention to themselves like a normal protest would. In addition, you have to wonder what a protest this long after production would accomplish.
Sources here, here, and here.
