The Bad Seed Synopsis
The CW has released synopsis for episode 11x03 of Supernatural. This episode was previously listed as the premiere, however release order has been changed and no longer reflects production order.
JENSEN ACKLES DIRECTS — While Rowena (guest star Ruth Connell) tries to consolidate her power to protect herself from the Winchesters, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) search for a missing baby connected to the Darkness. Meanwhile, Castiel (Misha Collins) struggles to heal and Crowley (Mark Sheppard) tries to find a way to use the Darkness for his own personal gain. Jensen Ackles directed the episode written by Brad Buckner & Eugenie Ross-Leming (#1101). Original airdate 10/20/2015.

Supernatural S11 Premiere News
According to TV Line, the season premiere of Supernatural is titled The Bad Seed and will air on October 7. It features new bad girl Amara, described as "a femme fatale in her late 20s who possesses an acid tongue and a seductive beauty. The fearmonger is new to Earth and is so not impressed with the place. That doesn’t stop her from sticking around; she’s set to recur throughout the season." She also shares a name with a figure from Greek mythology who is the primeval goddess of the day (maybe tying in with the darkness we saw in the finale. The episode is also directed by Jensen Ackles.
