Discovery to Debut in Early Fall

Speaking at an investor conference today, CBS chairman Les Moonves said that Star Trek: Discovery will debut in "late summer, early fall." I'm guessing this means September, around the time many shows get their start for the season. He also stressed once again that they don't want to rush the production team.

Kirsten Beyer to Write for Trek 2017

Kirsten Beyer has joined the writers' room on the Star Trek 2017 TV series, according to Trek Core. Beyer is known for her work on the Voyager novel series that takes place after the end of the television series of the same name.
