Douglas Mackinnon Confirmed for Series 8
Douglas Mackinnon confirmed on Twitter today that he will be directing for series 8 of Doctor Who. Mackinnon previously directed series 4's The Sontaran Stratagem/The Poison Sky, as well as The Power of Three and Cold War. He also revealed that preproduction for his episode(s) will begin on Monday (filming is rumored to begin next month).
