Tom Baker spoke recently about the recent
announcement that Classic Series episodes are going to be played on the Horror Channel
Horror is my very favorite genre, so I am thrilled the classic Doctor Who series have been picked up by the Horror Channel. There was clearly a darker edge to my storylines, which I think brought a
new dimension to the series. I remember hearing of the series scaring
children – I wonder how the audience will react to the series today, all
grown up. The Horror of Fang Rock is one of my favorite stories so I’m looking forward to that one!
Beginning on the 18th, the Horror Channel will be broadcasting episodes of Doctor Who's classic series, beginning with
An Unearthly Child (the very first story) then one episode from each Doctor for the remainder of the weekend. They'll then be showing episodes on weekdays after that.
