We really wanted to select a director who is able to explore both the quiet determination and rich mystique of Obi-Wan in a way that folds seamlessly into the Star Wars saga. Based on her phenomenal work developing our characters in The Mandalorian, I’m absolutely confident Deborah is the right director to tell this story.

Deborah Chow to Direct Obi-Wan Series
Lucasfilm has confirmed that Deborah Chow will direct the untitled Obi-Wan Kenobi streaming series. The show will be written by Hossein Amini, and executive produced by him, Chow, Kathleen Kennedy, Tracey Seaward, and John Schwartz. Kennedy commented,

Lucasfilm Confirms Mandalorian Cast
Lucasfilm has officially confirmed the cast of Star Wars: The Mandalorian. Pedro Pascal will play the title role (whose actual name is not specified) and will be joined by Gina Carano, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Carl Weathers, Omid Abtahi, Werner Herzog, and Nick Nolte. Dave Filoni, Deborah Chow, Rick Famuyiwa, Bryce Dallas Howard, Taika Waititi, and other will direct.
