According to the Hollywood Reporter, Temuera Morrison will play bounty hunter Boba Fett in the second season of Star Wars: The Mandalorian. Morrison has appeared in Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, and various video games as Jango Fett and his clones.

Rosario Dawson Cast in The Mandalorian

Slashfilm is reporting that Rosario Dawson will portray Ahsoka Tano in the second season of Star Wars: The Mandalorian. Ahsoka is the Jedi padawan of Anakin Skywalker who appeared in the animated series Rebels and The Clone Wars, voiced by Ashley Eckstein. This will mark her first live-action appearance (not counting a voice-over in Rise of Skywalker).

Marvel/Star Wars Disney+ Premiere Months Revealed

During Disney's earnings call with investors today, CEO Bob Iger announced premiere months The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision, and The Mandalorian season two. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is confirmed for August (I had seen that date a while back, but I can't remember how official it was), The Mandalorian will drop two months after that, followed by Wandavision in December.

Vanity Fair is reporting that Ming-Na Wen's character in Star Wars: The Mandalorian is an assassin named Fennec Shand. She appears at the end of the following trailer.

Disney has released the first photos from their upcoming streaming series, Star Wars: The Mandalorian.

New Disney+ Details Announced

Disney announced today that their streaming platform, Disney+ will launch on November 12, for $6.99/month. It will be available in the US immediately and roll out to "nearly all major regions of the world" in two years. Confirmed series include

• Star Wars: The Mandalorian (available at launch)
• a new season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars
• untitled Rogue One prequel series (will premiere in 2021)
• The Falcon and the Winder Soldier
• Marvel's What If...? (first episode features Peggy!Cap, BRB dying)
• WandaVision (previously referred to as Vision and the Scarlet Witch
• Loki
• a bunch of other stuff

All the Star Wars films, plus at least a dozen MCU films (including Captain Marvel and Endgame) will be available. There was no confirmation of a New Warriors or Agent Carter season 3 pickup.

Lucasfilm Confirms Mandalorian Cast

Lucasfilm has officially confirmed the cast of Star Wars: The Mandalorian. Pedro Pascal will play the title role (whose actual name is not specified) and will be joined by Gina Carano, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Carl Weathers, Omid Abtahi, Werner Herzog, and Nick Nolte. Dave Filoni, Deborah Chow, Rick Famuyiwa, Bryce Dallas Howard, Taika Waititi, and other will direct.
