MARVEL’S CLOAK & DAGGER – FAN ACTIVATION (on-site through Sunday)

Freeform is bringing “Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger” to “The Experience” at Petco Park. Starting July 19th at 10am, fans will have the opportunity to engage with two different interactive activations over the course of four days.

Tying into the “divine pairing” theme from “Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger”, Freeform will recreate the iconic moment between the two leads Tyrone and Tandy when their powers interact. To recreate this, Freeform is fabricating a physical experience where participants are harnessed to a bungee that will propel them backwards from the force of their powers. A slow-motion recording will capture the moment which will also include an overlay effect that shows both the light and dark energy emitting from the participants. Fans will have the opportunity to share their videos on social media.

Fans can also stop by the ROXXON Corp station to create their own customized ROXXON Corp badge and lanyard. Each badge will include a secret code that is connected to a wide range of prizes from Sony PlayStation Vue and Freeform. After receiving their customized badge, fans will be able to pose for a photo with the ROXXON Corp sign.

The Gifted Season 2 Premiere Date

Fox has announced that the second season of The Gifted will premiere Tuesday, September 25 at 8pm ET.

Legion & Gifted SDCC Panel Times

Fox has announced that the cast of The Gifted will appear at San Diego Comic Con on Saturday the 21st for a panel in Ballroom 20 from 2:30-3:15pm. Matt Nix, Jeph Loeb, Stephen Moyer, Sean Teale, Jamie Chung, Emma Dumont, Blair Redford, Natalie Alyn Lind and Skyler Samuels will attend. Dan Stevens, Aubrey Plaza, and Noah Hawley will attend the Legion panel on Sunday 2:15-3:15 in Hall H.

Marvel TV Heading to NYCC

New York Comic Con has confirmed panels for The Gifted, Agents of SHIELD, Runaways, and The Punisher. The AoS panel will take place Saturday October 7 at the Madison Square Garden Theater from 2-3:15pm and feature Jeph Loeb, "the entire cast," producers, and the first footage from the new season. The Punisher panel will take place in the same location from 5:15-6:15 and will include Jeph Loeb, Frank Castle and exclusive new footage. The panel for The Gifted will occur the next day in the convention center's main stage from 2:45-3:45 and will feature the cast, producers, and a look at the second episode (the first episode debuts the previous Monday). The panel for Runaways will happen Friday on the main stage from 7:45-9:15 and will feature the cast, producers, and exclusive footage.

Fox has dropped a new trailer for their upcoming mutant drama.

Fox has released some promo pics and a synopsis from their new Marvel series, The Gifted. They've also announced that it will air Mondays at 9pm after Lucifer. They did not, however, announce which Monday it will start on.

THE GIFTED tells the story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. REED (Stephen Moyer, SHOTS FIRED, “True Blood”) and CAITLIN (Amy Acker, “Person of Interest”) STRUCKER are typical middle-class parents dealing with the realities of raising a family. However, when their teenage kids, LAUREN (Natalie Alyn Lind, GOTHAM) and ANDY (Percy Hynes White, “Night at the Museum 3”), are involved in an incident at their high school which reveals they are mutants, Reed and Caitlin do all in their power to protect their children. Forced to go on the run, the Struckers must leave behind their old lives to flee from a relentless government agency that tracks down mutants, the Sentinel Services, which includes Agent JACE TURNER (Coby Bell, “Burn Notice”). Complicating matters further is the fact that Reed is a prosecutor in the district attorney’s office tasked with going after mutants. Desperate and running low on options, the family’s only choice is to contact an underground network that helps mutants in trouble. The Gifted Ordered to Series

Fox has officially order the first season of The Gifted, a new series based on Marvel comics. They've also released a trailer, with a longer version scheduled for Monday. No word on an episode count, but likely 13.

Blair Redford's Gifted Role Revealed

A few weeks ago, Blair Redford was cast in Gifted (Fox's X-Men pilot) as a mutant named Sam. Now, co-star Natalie Alyn Lind has posted a photo of the official cast list, revealing that Blair is playing Thunderbird. The most notable character by this name is John Proudstar, who has enhanced strength, speed, and stamina. Lind has since deleted the photo, but you can see a screenshot below.

Coby Bell Cast in X-Men Pilot

Fox has cast Coby Bell in their pilot based on the X-Men comics. Bell will play Jace Turner, described as

a weathered man who quietly wrestles with the moral ambiguities of a job that regularly requires cold-blooded, calculating efficiency on a day-to-day basis

Amy Acker Cast in X-Men Pilot

Amy Acker has joined the cast of Fox's X-Men pilot as the female lead. She will play a character named Kate Stewart, who is struggling with her estranged husband and rebellious teenage children. Emma Dumont, Percy White, and Natalie Lind have also joined the project.

Sean Teale Cast in X-Men Pilot

Deadline is reporting that Fox has cast Sean Teale in their untitled X-Men pilot. He will play a mutant named Marcos Diaz (aka Eclipse), who possesses the ability to absorb and manipulate photons.
