Doctor Who Special Moving to New Year's

This marks the first time since the show's return in 2005 that no episode will air on Christmas day. It also marks the second episode of the new series (the first was "End of Time, Part 2") and the fifth episode ever to air on January 1.
UPDATE: BBC America has confirmed this and released the following synopsis.
