Marvel Studios SDCC2019 News

Here's some news from today's Marvel Studios panel at San Diego Comic-Con. More updates will be posted as the panel goes on

    • The Eternals - November 6, 2020
      • Icarus: Madden Ikaris
      • Lauren Ridoff Faustus: Bryan Tyree Henry
      • Ajax: Selma Hyak
      • Spirte: Lia McHugh
      • Gilgamesh: Don Lee
      • Thena: Angelina Jolie
    • Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings - February 12, 2021 
      • Tony Leung: the Mandarin (for real this time)
      • Awkwafina
      • Simu Liu: Shang-Chi
    • Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness - May 7, 2021
      • "the first scary MCU film" - director Scott Derrickson

  • Avengers: Endgame is now (or soon will be, I'm not sure) the highest-grossing film of all time 
  • The villain of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will be Helmut Zemo 
  • WandaVision and Loki will premiere on Disney+ in the spring of 2021 
  • Monica Rambeau will appear on WandaVision, as played by Teyonah Parris
  • Loki will follow him after he steals the Tessaract in Endgame's new timeline 
  • What If...? series will premiere on Disney+ in summer 2021
    • The Watcher, as voiced by Jeffrey Wright, will narrate 
  • Hawkeye series to premiere on Disney+ in the autumn of 2021 
    • Kate Bishop has not been cast yet, but will appear 
  • No dates for those last five movies (Captain Marvel 2, Guardians 3, Black Panther 2, Fantastic Four, and Blade)
