What If Series in Development
/Film is reporting that Marvel Studios is developing a What If animated series for Disney+. What If is their comic series featuring alternative storylines that would have happened if events in the main timeline had gone differently (e.g. "What If Spider-Man Joined the Fantastic Four?" "What If the X-Men Died on Their First Mission?"). By the inherent nature of the premise, the show will not be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but rather adjacent to it, potentially even featuring the same actors.
