Marvel announced today that the Disney Channel has ordered an animated series based on the Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur comic books. The show will follow
the adventures of 13-year-old super-genius Lunella Lafayette and her ten-ton T-Rex, Devil Dinosaur. As an avid comic book fan, I am thrilled to be involved with 'Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur.' Disney Channel is the perfect platform to explore this pint-sized female African American superhero and I can't wait for their audience to enjoy the lighthearted adventures of Lunella and Devil Dinosaur. The press release doesn't mention whether the show will be part of the MCU, but then again, the initial announcement of Cloak & Dagger didn't mention the MCU either.

Brandon Routh & Courtney Ford Leaving Legends of Tomorrow
Real-life couple Brandon Routh and Courtney Ford will be leaving their roles as Ray Palmer and Nora Darhk on the upcoming Legends of Tomorrow season. Executive producers Phil Klemmer, Grianne Godfree, and Keto Shimizu commented,
Brandon and Courtney have been invaluable members of the Legends family. They have always brought a level passion and collaboration to their characters and to the show — both on and off the screen – that we deeply admire and for which we are eternally grateful. As one of the founding Legends of Tomorrow, Brandon is extremely beloved by the fans and everyone on the show. Of course, when we have had main characters in the past whose journeys take them away from the Waverider, it’s never truly goodbye. We love these characters and hope to check in with them in future seasons, to see how life off the ship has transformed them for better or worse.
Endless gratitude to the Legends fandom for embracing me so completely. Nora Darhk is a reflection of survivor’s resilience. I hear you. I see you. Your stories and strength inspire me every day❤️— Courtney Ford (@_CourtneyFord_) August 23, 2019
