Morbius Gets Release Date

Sony has announced that their Spider-Man-adjacent film, Morbius, will be released on July 31, 2020. They previously had July 10, 2020 listed for an unspecified Marvel film, but they have given that date to the new Ghostbusters.

Doctor Who Series 12 to Air in 2020

The BBC has confirmed that Doctor Who series 12 will not debut until "early 2020" and feature all four main cast members from series 11 (i.e. Jodie, Bradley, Mandip, and Tosin). I'm guessing the exact premiere date will be the usual Holy Saturday slot (which works out to April 11, 2020), but we'll have to wait and see. Assuming no Christmas special next year, that works out to the longest gap between episodes since the nine years between the TV movie and the show's return in 2005. Showrunner Chris Chibnall commented,

Sony Dates Two Marvel Films

Sony Pictures has added two untitled Marvel films to their 2020 schedule. One is on July 10, 2020 (the same time of year as the two Tom Holland Spider-Man movies) and the other, a sequel to they-won't-say-what, is on October 2.

Birds of Prey Release Date

Warner Bros has announced today that the Margot Robbie-starring Birds of Prey will be released in theaters on February 7, 2020. This will mark the next live-action DC film after November 2019's Wonder Woman 1984. This film will seemingly replace the untitled DC film originally scheduled for a week later.

Marvel Studios Adds 6 Movie Release Dates

Marvel Studios has added six untitled films to their schedule. The films will release on May 7, 2021; July 30, 2021; November 5, 2021; Februrary 18, 2022; May 6, 2022; and July 29 2022. They've also moved a seventh untitled film from its previous date of August 7, 2020 to July 31, 2020.

DC Adds Two New Films in 2020

Warner Bros has scheduled two untitled DC films for February 14 and June 5, 2020.

Fox Sets Six More X-Men Movie Dates

Fox has set six untitled X-Men movies for the following dates
