Rogue One Prequel Series in Development

Disney announced today during their quarterly earnings call that they are developing another new Star Wars live-action series. The new show will feature the return of Diego Luna as Cassian Andor in "the formative years of the Rebellion" and air on Disney's yet-to-launch streaming service, now officially known as Disney+. No formal title or release date has been confirmed, although it will start filming next year. Luna commented,

Going back to the Star Wars universe is very special for me. I have so many memories of the great work we did together and the relationships I made throughout the journey. We have a fantastic adventure ahead of us, and this new exciting format will give us the chance to explore this character more deeply.

Cassian & K-2SO Comic

Lucasfilm has announced a new Star Wars comic detailing how Cassian and K-2SO met. It's called Cassian & K-2SO Special #1, which implies that there's a #2, but it's also described as a one-shot, so IDK. The comic will be written by Duane Swierczynski with art by Fernando Blanco and will be released in August.
