Wynonna Earp S1 Blu-ray

The season one Blu-ray of Wynonna Earp is finally being made available for sale. Interestingly enough, it's being distributed through IndieGoGo, with various bonus extras depending on how much you pay. The basic, just the disc set version costs $30, although there are 75 "early bird" copies available for $5 off. $40 gets you a Wynonna Earp comic book as well, with 75 early bird $5 off discounts. For $65, you get the Blu-ray, comic book, and a 48-page 10x10" picture book signed by showrunner Emily Andras. Only 1,000 are available. Another package includes the disc set, comic, and a replica of Wynonna's necklace for $75. There are 45 of these available. The "It's Getting #WayHaught" package includes the Blu-ray, comic, and a 8x10" photo signed by Waverly and Nicole for $125. For $350, 20 fans can get the Blu-ray, comic, a second comic signed by Tim Rozon, and a personalized video message from him. 15 really dedicated fans (which you would have to be to spend this much) can get the Blu-ray, comic, an appearance as a villain in a comic by Beau Smith, and 25 signed copies of said comic for $1,000.

They also have some options for fans who want to go to SDCC this year. For $250, 50 people can get the Blu-ray, comic, and a ticket to the Wynonna Earp party at the convention. For $750, 10 people get that plus lunch with the cast. For $3,000 five people can get to man (or woman) the IDW booth. They get the Blu-ray, comic, necklace, signed picture book, 8x10" signed photo, party ticket, a tour of IDW office, lunch with the cast, and one-day badge to the convention as part of the IDW staff. The first two options do not include con badges, but you don't need them to attend the party.

All prices do not include shipping and are available here.

New Doctor Who Comic Coming to the UK

Titan Magazines has announced today a new UK-exclusive comic range featuring the 10th, 11th, and 12th Doctors. Each issue will feature all three Doctors, with the first going on sale February 26 priced £3.99. The following synopsis for the first issue comes from god-knows-where because the only fan sites that included a source link don't understand the concept of a permalink and the only official press releases I could find did not include this,
Join the Tenth Doctor as he deals with the aftermath of Donna Noble’s heart-breaking farewell. The Doctor feels he may never again have another companion, but maybe an adventure with some psychic aliens, a New York laundrette operator and the Mexican Day of the Dead festival can help change his mind.

Then, while Amy and Rory are away, the Eleventh Doctor will play. Experience a time-twisting adventure as he hurtles down a collision course into a terrifying cosmic threat. Can the Doctor save the day once more with a grieving young woman, a 70s’ musician, and an amnesiac alien? Find out in this issue!

Finally, Peter Capaldi’s Twelfth Doctor and Clara Oswald set off on a brand new adventure in the TARDIS. The Doctor is off to his most challenging destination yet. Whether he’s battling a fearsome, millennia-old entity on a freshly-terraformed planet or fighting the forces of an ancient alien, expect shocks, surprises and time-shaking revelations.

12th Doctor #1 Preview

Titan Comics has released previews of a couple of pages of their first 12th Doctor comic. The issue goes on sale next Wednesday, priced US$3.99.
Offering shocks, surprises, and galaxy-shaking revelations, seasoned TARDIS pilot Robbie Morrison (Drowntown, The Authority, 2000AD, Nikolai Dante) and New York Times-bestselling artist Dave Taylor (Batman: Death by Design; 2000AD) mark the start of their first five-issue run by diving headfirst into the console room and pulling all the levers they can – spinning the new Doctor off to his most challenging destination yet!

Freshly regenerated and with a new head full of unanswered questions, the Doctor (as played by Peter Capaldi) whisks Clara Oswald (as played by Jenna Coleman) away to a strange and distant world.

Clara thought she was in for an evening of marking essays on the Metaphysical Poets, followed by going out on a date – or at least trying to. You know, normal stuff.

Instead, she’s facing down exotic flora and fauna in her best dress, backing up the Doctor on a trek through traumatically alien undergrowth – and she doesn’t even know what the Doctor is searching for, or what will try to kill them should they find it!

New Face! New Doctor! New Beginning! Get in on the ground floor of this amazing ongoing series!
