Defenders Villain Revealed

Entertainment Weekly has an article out on the upcoming Defenders series. They've revealed that Sigourney Weaver's villain is someone named Alexandra who is not based in the comics. They also have the first photo of her (which might be the first pic from the show) and a behind the scenes video with cast interviews. The article also states that the Defenders will arrive in summer, which I'm guessing means a fall air date for Punisher. Maybe, they did both start filming around the same time, but Defenders has less episodes.

Actor Mike Colter revealed in an interview today that the first season of Luke Cage will debut on Netflix on September 30. Skip to 2:20 on the video see the information.

Luke Cage Set Reporting, January 31

Some new photos from the set of Luke Cage have surfaced online, showing an altercation between Luke and the NYPD. Also, I'm officially changing the title format of set photo posts from "show/movie set reporting, day #" to "show/movie set reporting, date." This is just because it's the day number of location filming and I sometimes miss stuff.

Mike Colter Cast as Luke Cage

Marvel has confirmed rumors that Mike Colter has been cast as Luke Cage. Colter will first appear in the Netflix series A.K.A. Jessica Jones next year, before starring in his own series.
