Lead actress Gal Gadot announced the end of filming on the Wonder Woman sequel this morning on Instagram.

We did it. Again!! And as much as the first time shooting Wonder Woman was amazing, this time was even more unique and special.. We shot in 4 very different locations in 3 countries, and I'm so soooo proud of the almost 1000 crew members who came to set every day, giving everything they have into our movie. Couldn't ask for better partners on this.. I'm so lucky to have the one and only Patty Jenkins, as my director. She always has our backs, she gives us the wings to dare, and everyday she helped us find the most creative version of ourselves .. I am so grateful to call her my friend. And to our AMAZINGly talented cast who made every day enjoyable and fun, thank you! Honestly.. Words cannot describe this experience.. This journey was so demanding and challenging but we all came and did our very best every take, every day, putting our all out there and I’m so proud... Thank you universe for this opportunity. I love this character. And thank you to all of you for being the best fans in the world. It was you that made me push myself every day. I'm so happy and excited, can't wait to share it with you in 2020! ❤️ Gal

Patty Jenkins Directing Wonder Woman 2

Variety has confirmed that Patty Jenkins (director of this year's WW movie) has signed on to the Wonder Woman sequel. She will write (along with Geoff Johns), direct, and produce the 2019 film.

Warner Bros has released a 13-minute behind the scenes video from Wonder Woman. It's a combination of interview, behind the scenes shots, and footage from the film. Some of the footage is stuff we've seen before, some is new, and some is old footage cut slightly differently.

Wonder Woman Photos & Villain

The French Magazine Studio Ciné Live has an article on this summer's Wonder Woman movie. It reveals how Zeus created humans and the Amazons before being killed at the hand of Ares. Ares is now jealous of humanity and seeking to wipe it out. The article also includes a quote from Chris Pine

I play a pilot who works for the Allies and spies on the Germans without their knowledge. My character steals a notebook filled with scientific formulas in an Ottoman base, he steals a plane but is shot down in the open sea.

Wonder Woman Trailer Coming in 2 Days

Director Patty Jenkins seemingly confirmed on Twitter today that the new Wonder Woman trailer will drop on Thursday. This comes after reports that a new trailer is classified and ready to ship. It should run for 2 minutes and 24 seconds.

Patty Jenkins Denies WW Having Problems

Recently, an ex-Warner Bros employee wrote a scathing open letter to the president of the company, in which they claimed the Wonder Woman movie is having developmental problems. Director Patty Jenkins has taken to Twitter to deny these claims.

Woah, just saw this press about WW having problems. Are they serious? This is some made up bs right here. Made up! Produce a source, anyone.

Patty Jenkins to Direct Wonder Woman

Earlier this week, I reported that Michelle MacLaren had left the role of Wonder Woman's director due to creative differences. Warner Bros. has now found a replacement in the form of Patty Jenkins, who has directed Monster and was initially involved in Thor: The Dark World.
