Venom Trailer 3
Sony has released a new trailer for their Venom movie.
Timeless Finale Movie Confirmed
Okay, did Eric Kripke sell his soul to Crowley in exchange for all his shows having unusually long lifespans? First, Supernatural got 14 seasons with no signs of slowing down, and now Timeless has been uncancelled, not once, but TWICE.
After the series was cancelled (again) on a cliffhanger, NBC has ordered a two-part series finale of Timeless. The story will air sometime during the holiday season and star all the main cast. Showrunners Shawn Ryan and Eric Kripke commented,
After the series was cancelled (again) on a cliffhanger, NBC has ordered a two-part series finale of Timeless. The story will air sometime during the holiday season and star all the main cast. Showrunners Shawn Ryan and Eric Kripke commented,
While we wish we could’ve made another dozen seasons of ‘Timeless,’ this is the next best thing. We’re thrilled to take the Lifeboat out for one last spin and bring closure to our story. The studio, network, cast and crew are all doing this for one reason only: the fans. Because they deserve it. Because the fans made this happen and we thank them for their passion, support and helicopters. So? You guys want to get Rufus back or what?

Star Wars: Episode IX Cast List
Lucasfilm has formally confirmed the cast of Star Wars Episode IX, which will be released in December of next year. From the press release,
UPDATE: Deadline is reporting Keri Russell is also in the movie and simply did not sign on in time be included in the announcement.
UPDATE 2: Russell has now been added to the official press release
Star Wars: Episode IX will begin filming at London’s Pinewood Studios on August 1, 2018. J.J. Abrams returns to direct the final installment of the Skywalker saga. Abrams co-wrote the screenplay with Chris Terrio.Furthermore, they've confirmed that this will be the last entry in the Skywalker saga. Other films going forward will presumably focus on other elements of the Star Wars galaxy. In my opinion, a trilogy of trilogies seems like a good format and this probably a good place to end.
Returning cast members include Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, and Billie Lourd. Joining the cast of Episode IX are Naomi Ackie, Richard E. Grant, and Keri Russell, who will be joined by veteran Star Wars actors Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, and Billy Dee Williams, who will reprise his role as Lando Calrissian.
The role of Leia Organa will once again be played by Carrie Fisher, using previously unreleased footage shot for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. “We desperately loved Carrie Fisher,” says Abrams. “Finding a truly satisfying conclusion to the Skywalker saga without her eluded us. We were never going to recast, or use a CG character. With the support and blessing from her daughter, Billie, we have found a way to honor Carrie’s legacy and role as Leia in Episode IX by using unseen footage we shot together in Episode VII.”
Composer John Williams, who has scored every chapter in the Star Wars saga since 1977’s A New Hope, will return to a galaxy far, far away with Episode IX.
Star Wars: Episode IX will be produced by Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, and Michelle Rejwan, and executive produced by Callum Greene and Jason McGatlin. The crew includes Dan Mindel (Director of Photography), Rick Carter and Kevin Jenkins (Co-Production Designers), Michael Kaplan (Costume Designer), Neal Scanlan (Creature and Droid FX), Maryann Brandon and Stefan Grube (Editors), Roger Guyett (VFX Supervisor), Tommy Gormley (1st AD), and Victoria Mahoney (2nd Unit Director).
UPDATE: Deadline is reporting Keri Russell is also in the movie and simply did not sign on in time be included in the announcement.
UPDATE 2: Russell has now been added to the official press release

CW DCTV SDCC 2018 News
Here are the announcements from today's DCTV panels at San Diego Comic Con. This post will be updated as the panels continue.
- Supergirl season 4 will focus more on Kara's career as a journalist
- Brainy will "butt heads" with some people, including Alex
- Three new characters will join Supergirl
- Nia Nal (Nicole Maines) is the newest addition to the CatCo reporting team. A soulful young transgender woman with a fierce drive to protect others, Nia’s journey this season means fulfilling her destiny as the superhero Dreamer (much like Kara came into her own as Supergirl).
- Hardline career military woman Colonel Haley (April Parker Jones) lives and dies by the orders of her commanding officers. Dedicated to her country, she always acts in its best interest — even if it’s not her own.
- Based on the iconic DC character, Manchester Black (David Ajala) is the type of guy who brings a knife to a gunfight and still walks away the winner. With a dark past, he easily deflects the brutality of his mission with his charm and sense of humor.
- Lynda Carter will return as President Olivia Marsdin
- There's nothing heroic about Oliver in season 7
- Oliver will face some old bad guys during his time in prison, including Ben Turner, Derek Sampson, and Danny Brickwell
- The Longbow Hunters will show up this season after being recruited by Ricardo Diaz, they are
- Red Dart (Holly Elissa – Whistler), a ruthless and precise killer
- Kodiak (Michael Jonsson – Van Helsing), a beast of a man with brute force
- Silencer (Miranda Edwards – The Magicians, Orphan Black), a master of stealth
- The Legends will visit Woodstock
- Two new characters are joining Legends of Tomorrow
- Ramona Young (Blockers, Santa Clarita Diet) joins the cast in the series regular role of Mona Yu. A typical twentysomething easily swept up by romantic notions and fantasy novels, she’s something of an expert in the world of the magical creatures that the Legends encounter in season four. In the company of the Legends, she soon learns to get her head out of the clouds to become a kickass superhero.
- Tom Wilson (The Informant, Back to the Future, The Mayor) will recur as Nate’s (Nick Zano) father, Hank Heywood. With a lifetime in the military and Dept. of Defense, Hank is part of a long line of Heywoods to serve the country. Charming and charismatic, he’s left big shoes for Nate to fill — and it doesn’t help that Nate can’t tell him he’s secretly a Legend!
- Beebo's back
- Maisie Richardson-Sellers will be playing a different character from before, a magical trickster named Charlie
- Chris Klein will play main villain Cicada on The Flash
- Nora is clingy with Barry and distant with Iris
- Tom Cavanagh will direct the 100th episode of The Flash
- The Flash will introduce an LGBTQ character
